“When we used to arrive in our Hawaiian home, the first day was spent cleaning, opening up the house, putting out, all the outside things we’d put indoors for protection. During the vacation we always seemed to find some things that didn’t work, so we set up appointments for the necessary repair man…all seemed to have 4 hour arrival windows, such a waste of a day! The last day was a repeat of the first…cleaning, taking trash out, putting away outdoor items…Today it’s different. Since working with the expert home concierge company, Diamond Head Living. From the moment we arrive until the moment we leave we are on vacation. On arrival, the house is sparkling clean, fresh flowers on the table, music playing & the house airy, everything is in working order, the garden well-tended & the pool crystal clear. When we leave we simply pull the door shut, knowing that within hours the house will be professionally cleaned & closed up. Any maintenance issues that occurred during our stay will be dealt with in our absence, by a hand-picked team of local professionals.
We have also planned some major & minor renovations, having Diamond Head Living handling the contractors has been invaluable. Trying to coordinate & oversee construction projects from off site was a real challenge, however we now have eyes, ears & hands on site to make sure that projects move along on schedule & on budget.
